Uncover the Undercover Gaijin
Hi there, I’m Fil. I’m a quarter century old alien spouse and father, living undercover in the Land of the Rising Sun. I worked for two years as a JET ALT in four high schools across Natto Nation (read Ibaraki Prefecture) Japan. These days, you can find me out in Tokyo doing IT related work—psst, that means I’m now a salaryman *cringe*—in the embedded systems industry. Boring stuff really.
I like cooking, design, computers, and fitness. I’m a geek, I admit it. Oh and yeah, I have a B.A. in International Relations and speak enough of the local lingo not to blow my cover.
This is my little corner of the internets, and here you’ll find mini rants and wot have you about things of interest to me (and hopefully of interest to YOU too!) That is, once I get a hang of this blogging thing.
